Odell Beckham Jr. will not return to the game due to a knee injury.
Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was ruled out for the rest of the game with a knee injury after leaving the field with less than four minutes remaining in the first half.
After reaching to catch a pass, he crumbled to the ground and left the field with help.
Several of his teammates took a knee as trainers examined Beckham on the field.
He walked into the medical tent on the sideline and emerged a couple of minutes later. Beckham lifted his left knee and grimaced as he walked away. Beckham had two catches for 52 yards and a touchdown score before exiting the game.
This was Beckham’s first Super Bowl appearance in his eight-year N.F.L. career, after spending five seasons with the Giants and two and a half with the Cleveland Browns. He was released from the Browns in November amid discord over his targets. The Rams picked him up on a one-year deal shortly thereafter.
